Claire Woodall

Claire Woodall is the Director of Strategic Engagement at Better Choices, where she works to build partnerships, communicate complex policy ideas in accessible ways, and engage diverse audiences around practical election reform solutions. With more than a decade of experience in election administration, strategic communications, and civic engagement, Claire is widely recognized for translating complex election systems into clear, actionable information for policymakers, election officials, media, and the public. Before joining Better Choices, she served as Executive Director of the City of Milwaukee Election Commission, leading election operations in one of the nation's most closely watched swing-state jurisdictions, and later served as Chief of Staff and Director of Partnerships at Make Voters the Donors. She has also advised national organizations including Issue One and has been a frequent media spokesperson on election administration. Claire holds a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
