California Voters Want Better
In July, we partnered with Natalie Jackson at Centerline Research and Strategy to conduct a statewide survey of California registered voters for Better Choices for Democracy. Among our findings:
Only one-third of voters in California say that their elected officials care about people like them.
Only 4% of respondents say they’re very satisfied with how state government handles issues that matter to their communities and half say they have little or no trust that the gubernatorial candidates will be honest about what they will do if elected.
